The client's Accounting team was facing challenges in efficiently approving invoices due to manual processes and reliance on email communication which results in delays and inefficiencies in the approval workflow.
For that reason, it was necessary to build a solution that automates the invoice approval process and provides a more user-friendly experience for approvers.
Our main objectives were to implement AI-powered features using the Power Platform to automatically extract invoice data from company emails and create a user-friendly interface that presents invoices as forms within the app, displaying all necessary information for approval.

We built a model-driven app using Microsoft's Power Platform to automate the invoice approval process and with the integration of AI features to automatically filter and analyze invoices from company emails and populate them within the app. It were also implemented collaboration features within the app to facilitate communication and decision-making among invoice aprovers throughout the approval workflow and provide notifications for pending approvals.
